Homage is the inspired result of Patricia’s many extended trips to India. This is her homage to Tansen, one of the greatest Indian musicians, who was one of the ‘nine jewels’ of the 16th Century court of King Akbar. Tansen’s tomb at Gwalior is a place of pilgrimage for musicians and Patricia has experienced its sense of calm and inspiration many times.

In Homage, Patricia has blended the sound of the western Concert Harp with the distinct sound of the Authentic Indian Harp and other eastern instruments. Patricia’s total immersion in her heartfelt experiences are conveyed to the listener in an intriguing recording that captures all the colour and splendour of India.
