It was in early 1981 that a young couple called Colin and Carmen Willcox released the first album in New World Music’s history, and now nearly 30 years later we are celebrating our third decade of operation. As well as highlighting some of the artists that have been with us since the early days, (Llewellyn, Medwyn Goodall, John Richardson and Phil Thornton), this collection also features some of the talented new artists that have joined us over the last decade. Artists such as Patrick Kelly, Philip Guyler and Francis Perry who have brought a fresh new perspective to the traditional New World style of music. This CD shows the very best of New World over the last 10 years, and look forward to being around for another 30 years!
