About

China Garden contains relaxing healing elements and is perfect for relaxation and meditation. Whilst I was writing the album I used visualisations to create a scene, which in turn created feelings and melodies. When composing the piece ‘Reeds’ for China Garden I studied the Japanese painting Autumn Grasses by Shibata Zeshin for inspiration. I recommended that you take a look at this painting as it is quite beautiful – Francis Perry.
