For many of us when we hear the name Serengeti mentioned we envisage a vast piece of land located somewhere in Africa with swirling grass and the odd tree with the relentless sun beating down and clear star filled nights.

However the recent BBC series has proabbaly changed all of our perceptions hugely and introduced us to many different families of animals we knew existed but not that much about. Its shown us how the various groups survive the harshness of the environment and protect their families from everything and thrive and prosper.

This album has been inspired by these stories and the participants and we hope that you enjoy the music that we feel emcompasses some of the sights and sounds of the Serengeti.
