Susan Ni Rahilly Author since: 2016
"Susan Ni Rahilly has reached an interesting point in her life, in her late 50's age-wise (and looks-wise and energy-wise a decade or more younger!), she considers herself "trans-genre". As a twice published author, former freelance Journalist, vegetarian Chef, Meditation and Hatha Yoga Teacher, and founder of suZenyoga.com, Susan has come to terms with being a "story-telling wellbeing teacher and practitioner". She is a regular contributor to OMTimes Magazine (omtimes.com) and has recently started contributing to Times of India TimesWellnessonline. Susan lives in West Cork where she writes and teaches. Her teaching of practice through Yoga and Meditation typically draws on breathwork in deep Hatha practice, as well as Raja Yoga (the Yoga of Meditation) from the traditions of Vedanta, and Zen. 26 years in her own practice now, and teaching Meditation for 19 years, Susan's Hatha Yoga teaching is inspired by Zen and her ongoing research into our innate abilities for deep listening and intuitive practice, "Body Zen". Susan adds: "From the trans-genre approach of being a teacher and a writer, I'm able to pass on to readers and aspiring practitioners experiences of having lived daily with the whole of Yoga, in a conscious way, for over a quarter of a decade. I call this approach Enlightened Wellness, and we're currently building this into a section of the website: http://suzenyoga.com/saucha.html" Most of Susan's (suZen's) writing content has previously been in the genre of Emotional Freedom with a Mind Body Spirit approach as well as incorporating her own individual approach to diet, nutrition and optimum lifestyle, inspired by Ayurveda. "All of us, whether women or men, are currently in need of regenerating ourselves through practice, by coming to terms with our lives and accepting what we all need to do next in our current chapter of world history. My intention is for the suzenyoga programs to answer a few questions, through my life teachings and experience." says Susan There's more information at these links: http://suzenyoga.com/yama_living.html and http://suzenyoga.com/cafe_books.html and http://suzenyogafreedom.wordpress.com/ Namaste, enjoy."
